Question by Gary: How to get to Disneyworld if I stayed at a hotel at International Drive Orlando Florida?
I am going to Harry Potter at Universal Studio Florida and Epcot at Disneyworld end of July. I got advised to stay at a hotel at International Drive as it is near Universal Studio. My dilemma is how i can get to EPCOT. Most hotels at International Drive offers limited shuttle services to Disneyworld. Any advise please? Any hotel suggestions as well? Thanks

If your not looking for 5 star hotel try Quality Inn 7600 International Dr. I loved the hotel! Brought our dog and stayed for 6 days. It is in the middle of everything, walking distance to TONS of stuff but also check out the I-ride bus. We rode it back from Seaworld and it cost like .25 http://www.iridetrolley.com/fareandpasses.asp not sure if this will get you 100% to the front gates but maybe close. We did Magic Kingdom in April and we were like 10 minutes away! Which was especially nice since I forgot my id for my ticket and we had to go back to the hotel. Here is another link I wrote a while back. I am now back from that trip and we only spent about 00 for a week in Orlando(1 day at Disney) for 3 people and a dog!

Also check out Orlando Magicard( just google it) That is how I saved a ton at the Quality inn(buy 2 nights get 1 free)

You can call a taxi or even better, a Mears shuttle. They are online. They will pick you up right at your hotel, and then later at Disney, and they are cheaper than cabs.

If you are just going to Epcot for one day, however, you can probably get by fine with the free hotel shuttles.

when a hotel says they offer a shuttle to WDW they mean all four parks within WDW.
If you can walk to Downtown Disney you can get a Disney bus to a Disney resort , then take a Disney bus to EPCOT- very time consuming, but free.

If there is not a shuttle service, but you have a rental car….just follow signs to I-4 West and follow that until you find signs for Disney and it will take you to whatever park you want! ;)
