Not the hotel itself, but if you book a room. Is your room considered private property while your there, and can anyone enter without your consent (unless they have a warrant of course)

It’s a private place. But it’s not YOUR private place. The hotel owner and its agents can enter (hotel employees, etc) during the course of their normal duties. This means that housekeeping staff, valets, bellboys, etc can enter.

If a police officer needs to enter, they just need probable cause and permission of the hotel owner.

So what’s up? Somebody walk in on you and you want to sue them?

No not exactly. Hotel owner still has his rights over the room. But, yes random people can not enter your room without your consent though unless of course it is someone who works at the hotel.
