admin Question by DisneyBride: What is a good hotel to stay at for San Diego Comic Con?
My soon-to-be-husband and I want to go to San Diego Comic Con in 2010. What is a good hotel/motel to stay at for this event that is safe, clean, and would pheraps provide transportation (like shuttle busses pheraps?) to the events? Transportation to and from the airport would also be a plus.

Smack in the middle of the Gas Lamp District (where all the best restaurants and entertainment is), a short pleasant walk to the convention center, and it is a very cool hotel dating back to the days when Wyatt Earp spent time there. Beautiful Victorian atmosphere and room prices not too bad considering the location and the furnishings. All rooms are different so check out the room when you check in (some are near noisy areas).
It’s a short taxi ride to the airport — shouldn’t be too expensive to get there when you arrive.
The Omni is very nice and one of the closest hotels to the convention center
