Is it possible to develop technology to travel at or above the speed of light?

Question by Ryan Long: Is it possible to develop technology to travel at or above the speed of light?
Is it possible for us humans to develop this kind of technology in the amount of time we have left on earth (possibly couple billion years give or take). What would propel this type of craft. I just don’t see it happening, then again who knows what technology will bring us. I guess if we could travel faster then light we would essentially be time traveling.

Any physicist will tell you that, as long as an object has discernible mass, it is impossible for it to travel at the speed of light, let alone faster than it.

Thus, it is (extremely) unlikely that humans will ever develop technology capable of delivering objects anywhere near the speed of light.

I will be driving from RI to FL in April for vacation. There are 9 of us going altogether. My son is four years old and I am wondering is any one has any travel tips for me??? Oh- we are driving down in a very large motor home with TV’s and DVD’s. I appreciate your help :)

Sounds like fun. With a TV and DVD, all that I can think to add to entertain your son would be some books and small toys. I might plan on making a few extra stops so he gets to actually see some of the sights along the way. It will give you things to discuss with him during the drive and also long after your vacation has ended.

I booked a flight through a travel agency and paid for the ticket on last wednesday but still have not recieved a ticket and I am supposed to fly out next Wednesday. Does it usually take this long? My flight is international.
This should be my last question about Traveling, this is my first time traveling internationally.
The Agency said that they will call me when the ticket comes but I haven’t received a call yet.
I have a receipt of the purchase

Most ticets are now issued electronically and are available at the airline’s check in counter. Ask your agency if this is possible and to e-mail you a confirmation code and proof of payment.
