What percentage of your travel cost (including flight and accommodation) should be paid to a travel agent who has arranged all of this for you? What is the industry standard?

Travel agents are paid by the hotels, cruise lines, etc., and not by their clients. As a thank you, you can send a bottle of wine or plant for the office if you like, but nothing is expected.
